With amps cranked and beer in hand, hailing from humble beginnings rehearsing in a steel factory to touring ‘round the world, Avalanche are the new face of Aussie pub rock.
Led by Australia's hottest rock n’ roll power couple Steven & Veronica Campbell; met and married on the mean streets of Western Sydney, whose wild onstage chemistry has been described as ‘giving audiences a peek into their bedroom’... Known as the hardest working hard rock band in Australia, and packed with the kind of raw energy that could shake the froth off your schooner; Avalanche have headlined tours and festivals across Australia, Japan (3 headline tours to date), Taiwan & New Caledonia, and shared stages with rock titans like Airbourne, Nashville Pussy, Rose Tattoo, Supersuckers, Buckcherry, Jesse Hughes (Eagles Of Death Metal) & more. They've won Australia’s largest live original band competition; Passport To Airlie, played almost 300 shows to date, and worked with Grammy nominated and ARIA award winning producer Steve James (Airbourne, The Screaming Jets, Cold Chisel).
Avalanche are Steven Campbell on lead vocals & bass, and Veronica ‘V’ Campbell on lead guitar. He's a mane of red hair on legs & a sheer force of nature - playing every note like it's his last - with vocals strong enough to strip paint off the walls. She's a tall, dark & aggressively powerful lead guitarist bound by neither space nor convention - always playing her blistering solos out in the crowd, on the bar, in the dunny's... wherever they may take her. Together with virtuoso level guitar legend Blake Poulton on Rhythm Guitar & Australia's hardest hitting drummer Bon Lowe on drums, they are a force to behold.
